My Point of View

As you can imagine, there are many aspects of being a part of SouthPoint that I enjoy. At the top of the list is being able to celebrate Co-Op Month and International Credit Union Day throughout the month of October.

For more than half a century, cooperative businesses have come together to reflect on their shared principles and to educate others about the value of belonging to a cooperative. SouthPoint is proud to be one of more than 40,000 co-ops in the United States with 350 million people, which includes you!

This year’s theme, “Cooperatives – See the Future” celebrates the way co-ops in various sectors, sizes and forms, are working to build a better world. At SouthPoint, we strive to make our member’s financial futures as bright as possible and are excited for what is to come.

We know that none of our success would be possible without you, our members, which is why I want to thank you for helping SouthPoint be able to celebrate with other co-ops around the country since 1936.
