SouthPoint Celebrates Arbor Day with Donating Trees to Local Communities.

[Sleepy Eye, MN] – April 25, 2025 – In honor of Arbor Day, SouthPoint Financial Credit Union proudly partnered with local communities to celebrate the importance of trees and sustainability by hosting a tree planting initiative across several of its branch locations.

With a mission rooted in Empowering People to Enhance Lives, SouthPoint is dedicated not only to financial well-being but also to the health and growth of the communities it serves. This Arbor Day, SouthPoint team members joined hands with local schools and donated over 1500 tree saplings.

Each tree planted represents growth, strength, and community—core values shared by SouthPoint and its members. Educational materials about the benefits of trees and financial wellness were also distributed during the events to further promote environmental and economic sustainability.

SouthPoint’s Arbor Day participation reflects its ongoing commitment to community engagement, environmental responsibility, and financial empowerment. As a not-for-profit cooperative, SouthPoint continues to look for ways to create positive impact—today and for generations to come.
