(Sleepy Eye, MN – June 25, 2024) – SouthPoint Financial Credit Union’s Springfield Branch ATM located at 975 West Central Street was the scene of an attempted ATM break-in on June 24, 2024. SouthPoint is working with the Springfield Police Department to investigate the crime. Suspects were not able to gain access, no account information was exposed during this attempt, and no financial loss occurred. The branch ATM will remain unavailable until future notice.
