What if I send money through Zelle to the wrong phone number or email?
It’s always a good idea to double-check your contact information before sending a payment with Zelle. If you send money to the wrong token:
As long as the recipient has not yet claimed the money, you can cancel the payment.
If the recipient has already accepted the payment, contact your financial institution (but the funds may be unrecoverable).
